She spent 9 years in both the retail and wholesale sides of the mortgage industry (in addition to earning her second real estate license). It was while on the wholesale side of lending that her speaking career officially began in 2003 – quite by accident. Cheryl began writing and teaching dozens of continuing education courses, which took her across the country to large and small audiences – beginning in 2013 - and she has never looked back. She also began her journey of teaching Designation and Certification courses certified by the National Association of Realtors in 2009. Author and creator of two Utah real estate pre-licensing schools and dozens of continuing education courses, Cheryl truly loves and has a passion for the real estate and mortgage industries.

Cheryl is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) – the highest award bestowed by the National Speakers Association, where she recently completed her term as President of the Mountain West Chapter of NSA.

Nina's losses, her mother's death when she was 12 and her son's passing after a 17-year illness inspired her passion to help others find hope and healing.
