#116 –A Conversation with Lyndsie Jones

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast episode 116!

As a stay-at-home mother, Lyndsie Jones never thought she would be a parent to twelve children.

Born and raised in Provo, Utah, her parents divorced when she was four years old, and lived with her mother and 3 older siblings. Her maternal grandparents took care of her for most of her formative years and gave her a beautiful childhood despite the challenges. Due to her mother’s mental illness, she moved into a relative’s home at the age of thirteen where she had consistent, healthy, loving parental figures through her teenage years.

After high school she started college with a focus on psychology, however, plans changed when she met and married her first husband and shortly thereafter gave birth to their first son. Through the years the marriage was increasingly turbulent, and the number of children grew to six as the marriage ended in divorce.

While single-parenting six children, she started an in-home daycare while attending college to complete her associate in behavioral science, and after her bachelor’s in elementary education. She met a wonderful man with five children. They married just before the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing the total number of children to 11. The next year brought another little baby, making a total an even dozen. Together, Eric and Lyndsie parent a house full of chaos and love as they navigate life.

#113 –A Conversation with Virginia Heiner

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast episode 113!

Virginia Heiner was born and raised in Utah. She was adopted at birth. She met her now husband in High School but it is important to note that they were not high school sweethearts. They hung out in the same crowd and went on one date in which she asked him and his mom responded for him. It's a funny story but essentially her husband was a stalker and very persistent, clearly he won as they have been married for 18 years and counting and have 4 amazing kids. They currently reside in Holladay, UT in the home her Mother-in-Law grew up in. Among being a Mom, Wife, and all the other titles -- they gather as they grow through life.

Virginia works as an English/American Sign Language Interpreter in their community serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Hearing community. Bridging language and cultural barriers.

She enjoys cooking, but not cleaning up afterward. To remedy that she came up with a great system. A rule in her home is if you cooked dinner you don't have to clean up afterwards. A win for her!

She enjoys naps, and spending time with her family and friends. She is an extrovert through and through. If you meet her, she'll consider you a friend and you are stuck with her.

Virginia strongly believes that we are ultimately responsible for ourselves, owning our errors and even our trauma and healing.

She strongly believes in helping others whenever possible. And that we should always show kindness and love to others. Showing up daily with compassion and empathy towards our fellow humans who are growing in this life is the ultimate task and isn't always easy to do.
