Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 44!
My friend Becky is a survivor, like me. She endured said abuse in her formative years at the hands of an educator.
I know. This made me want to say poopy things, too. I feel you.
However, what we want to focus on is that she is more than the abuse she endured. She's a survivor, she is HOTNESS, and her story will amaze you! She's now a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with White Peaks Therapy!
In her own words:
I used to believe that people had to overcome their challenges before they could find peace. Now I know that as we work on creating peace, we are able to overcome our most difficult challenges. As we work together, my goal is to help you find peace, hope, and transformation in your personal life and your choicest relationships.
I help individuals, couples, and families to shift the difficult patterns that may be contributing to their problems, and build healthy relationships with self and others. I believe that even our most frustrating actions make sense when we understand why we do them, and that it’s never too late to create a happier life.
When working with individuals, I help people heal from longstanding obstacles, as well as recognize and meet their fundamental emotional needs. I help couples and families work collaboratively to change dysfunctional relational patterns, and find greater connection in these important relationships. Together, let’s work to support a happier, more fulfilling present and future.
I enjoy helping people work through relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, grief, communication, and improving emotional connections. I’m especially passionate about working with all facets of trauma, for individuals and within relationships.
I have training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and my preferred models of therapy also include Emotionally-Focused Therapy and Trauma-Informed Systemic Therapy. I provide in-office, telehealth, and phone sessions, using HIPAA Compliant video to ensure your confidentiality.
