#185 –Laney Lawrimore Part 1 - A Conversation on Surrender
Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast, episode 185!
Laney Lawrimore is a professional speaker and faith-based coach and the founder of Upward 2 Joy, a ministry-minded coaching business dedicated to helping others discover hope, joy, and purpose through their relationship with Jesus Christ. Her heart is to encourage people to rise above life’s challenges, deepen their faith, and discover the sustaining joy that comes from trusting God, even in the midst of suffering.
Drawing from her faith and the truth of Scripture, Laney shares a message of hope through her topic, “The Joy of Suffering.” Grounded in John 16:33, Romans 5:3–5, and Philippians 4:12-13, she explores how God can use seasons of suffering to develop endurance, strengthen character, deepen hope, and draw us closer to Him.
Laney believes that joy is not the absence of pain or hardship, but a confidence rooted in God’s presence, His promises, and His unfailing love. Through her message, she encourages others to embrace the peace of Christ, trust Him through life’s tribulations, and discover that even in our most difficult seasons, we are never beyond the reach of His grace.
Her prayer is that others will be encouraged to look upward, hold fast to their faith, and experience the unshakable joy that comes from knowing Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world.
