Melissa has been my friend for a long time, and she has done amazing things with her life. She's the Executive Director for The Mabira Collective, a 501 (c)3 non-profit social enterprise that sells handcrafted jewelry made by women in Lugazi, Uganda. One hundred percent of profits are invested in the growth of Mabira artisans by providing stable employment and education in English and literacy, health, and entrepreneurship.
