Y'all are in for a treat. I'd like you to meet my friend Melissa, who is so amazing, that I nearly tried to set her up with my nephew. Unfortunately, their ages made this an impossibility, but I can dream, can't I?

Melissa has been my friend for a long time, and she has done amazing things with her life. She's the Executive Director for The Mabira Collective a 501 (c)3 non-profit social enterprise that sells handcrafted jewelry made by women in Lugazi, Uganda. One hundred percent of profits are invested in the growth of Mabira artisans by providing stable employment and education in English and literacy, health, and entrepreneurship.
