#68 –Camille Walker - Mother & Entrepreneur

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 68!

Camille Walker and I met at a trade show.

If I recall correctly, the trade show lasted for nine straight days. NINE. DAYS.

I know.

Given that we had so much time right next to one another, (Camille's booth was next door to mine), we had oodles of time to get to know one another, and we absolutely took advantage of it!

Camille Walker is a blogger, podcaster, and business coach. Her favorite things are traveling with her family, eating delicious food, and meeting new people.

Camille's goal is to empower women to create a life they love.

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 67!

Oh my crap, my friend Denise Ford has 11 children. O.o ELEVEN!

She also runs a school out of her home. Yes, she has ELEVEN beautiful children, and she home-schooled all of them. Isn't that wild?

This is a fabulous story, and I look forward to having Denise back soon. I really lost it on this one. Cried like I don't think I've cried on any other episode. :)

Denise M. Ford is the Founder of a three-fold ministerial enterprise: Ford Christian Academy, Camp Summer Quest, and Academic Support Services, Inc. d/b/a Mama Bear University.

The heart and soul of her ministries are to provide a journey of hope and love through teaching children how to read, building their literacy skills, and providing life-changing enrichment activities to build strong confidence. She loves nurturing and developing transformational leaders who give back to their families and community.

#66 –A Conversation with Wendy Kelly

Member of the Deaf Community, Communications Specialist

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 66!

Meet my friend Wendy Kelly! Wendy is a survivor, and a member of the Deaf Community. :)

Wendy experienced sexual abuse molestation as a child and teen, as well as emotional, financial, and mental abuse during her marriage. As a hard-of-hearing/deaf woman, she has also experienced various levels of discrimination throughout her 20-year career in non-profit leadership. The misappropriations and perceptions of persons with disabilities, as well as of those who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault moved her to raise her voice and become an advocate for those who may not feel heard or seen, and have been discriminated against. You Can't Yell at the Deaf Girl was born out of these experiences and has set the foundation for sharing a mission of empathy, compassion, clarity, effort, and intention in communication.

Wendy works with individuals, corporations, and community groups as they walk through the processes of diving deep and working through the layers of "stuff" that builds up and clouds people's perceptions that can often create hard to overcome challenges in communication using mindful yet creative and empathetic communication techniques that are supported by trauma-responsive modalities.

She has also worked with several corporations over the years in writing effective and well-thought out diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, taught communication classes at the Utah Women's Correctional Facility, and facilitates women's only retreats centered around reclaiming one's sacred self.

The journey of self reclamation has become the one big adventure in Wendy's life. Learned and lived experiences have given her a wide open view of how empathetic communication with self and others is key to the healing journey.

In her spare time, Wendy enjoys being outdoors and exploring the mountains and trails of Utah, Oregon, and Washington, coaching for Special Olympics Utah, and spending time with her family. She is mom to two amazing humans and "grammy" to one absolutely adorable little girl. Wine tasting excursions, coffee shop visits, exploring small towns, finding good, local art, attending music festivals, and enjoying time with friends and family are the happiest of moments for her.

#63 –Shanna Beaman - Advocate for Young People

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 63!

Shanna Beaman is an absolute gem of a person, mostly for how she puts up with my wildly inappropriate jokes throughout this episode. ;) Seriously though, Shanna is wonderful!

#61 –Elise Smith - Journey to Motherhood

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 61!

Most of you already know Elise Smith, and if you don't know her, you're about to. Her story is one very near and dear to my heart, and one I think you'll really enjoy.

See, like me, Elise also struggled greatly on her journey to motherhood; a journey which she's still in the middle of.

This is a story of perseverance, faith, and resiliency. I love stories like this. I know you do, too.

Elise Smith has been married for 15 years, and has a cute pup-son shitzu terrier (a little fluff ball named Spike). She is a Christian Business Strategist who loves to empower ladies to reach their sales goals and gain a closer relationship with God. She loves coaching and speaking, but also loves reality TV and driving to no where in particular with her hubby.
